Database File

Post by giuseppe.abbiati »

Does anyone know how to convert in a familiar format (txt, MatLAB, ect.) the database files written by the Database command of OpenSEES?
In this way Is it possible to get Mass and Stiffness matrix from the linear part of the model (that used by the eigen solver)?
Thanks a lot in advance

no, there is no way to convert the database files into another format. and thus no, you can not get mass and stiffness matrix this way.

You can save the state of your model to a data base and restore it whenever you need it.
