Eigen values(infinite):

Post by fast98 »

Hello Sylivia,

It has been a while since I got a couple of questions of curved bridge modeling using opensees.

I have done a full model of one curved bridge with skewed angles, but the first period of such a bridge that I found was infinite when running the case. Could you let me know why it happened and how to fix it?

If not mind, I'd like you to run my model. Please let me know if you need my source file.

Thanks,
Patrick

why infinite?
it means that you don't have enough constraints in the system right? some rigid body mode....

i really do think you need some constraints.
