Stress Strain curve of a reinforcement in a fiber section

Post by Moochul Shin »

Hello!

I am wondering how I can get the stress and strain curve of a reinforcement in a certain fiber which consists of a concrete and reinforcements.

I could get a stress and strain curve of a concrete at the specific location through the following command.

recorder Element -file $dataDir/ele1sec1StressStrain.out -time -ele 1 section $ColSecTag fiber -$coreY $coreZ $IDconcU stressStrain

But I could not get the stress and strain curve of a steel I used in this fiber even though I tried to put the values of the location of one reinforcement.

Please let me figure that out.

Can we just get a stress and strain curve of a concrete only in the fiber?
Can we extract the status of the reinforcement or not?

Thank you

you need to change the material tag $IDconcU to the steel material tag.
