Winkler Soil model

Post by bassking »

hello, i study civil engineering in Italy (Roma3). I'm working on a bridge model in Opensees, and i'm looking for someone who could give me generic soil parameters to put in opensees to model Py Tz and Qz material.

Thanks for the link fmk. Really appreciate it.

I guess there really is a lot to learn if you're really open to more learning.

Thank you for the post, but this is a procedure to obtain the values if you have soil weight and the friction angle. I don't have those input, because i don't care about the real soil under my structure, i ask for typical parameter of pult, y50 ecc.
Maybe someone is studing a soil and have this values from laboratory tests.
