twoNodeLink Elements and SAWS hysteretic model

Post by cdickof »

Hi,

I am trying to put a twoNodeLink element into my program and cant seem to get it to work. I want to use the uniaxial SAWS hysteretic model that has been developed, but for some reason this element type doesnt work with that. IT doesnt even return any errors, it just never creates the elements and never exits the twoNodeLink procedure, it just stops working. When I use a different uniaxial material, like elastically perfectly plastic, it seems to work fine. Can anyone tell me how I might get it to work with the SAWS hysteretic model?

Thanks in advance

Would you post a model with only one element (twoNodelink) to which you assign SAWS and elastic perfectly plastic material (one at a time)?
