geomTransf PDelta

Dear friends, the results using geomTransf PDelta or geomTransf linear were just the same in the model Ex3.Canti2D.build.InelasticFiberSection, Why?

How to conside the second-order effects in Opensees??

there is no command in OpenSees that accounts for the second-order effects. To account for it you need to break your elements into multiple pieces.

In fact not. Some elements are only compatible with the specific geomTransf. The more you do the simulation, the more you would know~
