I want to work with UniaxialMaterial LimitState and LimitCurve,but when I want to run the program an error occurs and I must click on “Close Program”. I used the example for Mr Elwood and It does not work too. Therefore I’ve changed the OpenSEES version from 2.0.0 to 2.2.2. even I experienced the lowest version, for example 1.7.5, 1.6.2, but the problem isn’t solved yet.
Please guide me what I have to do for using UniaxialMaterial LimitState and LimitCurve in my code.

this is contributed material that I never used before. I tested the posted example and could not run it due to modeling errors. It looks like force-based element was not defined well. Try writing to a material developer Ken Elwood. Ask him for example files and about the problems you have while using this material.
Your feedback about the material after you use it successfully would be of a great importance to OpenSees users.

I have perfected Mr.Elwood’s model for pushover and Cyclic analysis by load and displacement control integrator. Now, I am trying to solve it for Time History analysis. I’ll send them for you when they are perfected well. But I must confess that the modifying of program was very difficult and it took me much times.
