can Quad element be used in 3-dimensional

Hi all:
I use a Quad element , and ndm :3 ndf: 6 , but the Opensees give this warning: the model dimensions and/or node DOF not compatible with Quade element.
my question is : can Quad element be used in 3-dimensional?

Quad element can be only used in 2D and it has 2 dofs per node.
