P-delta effects in 3D models

P-delta effects in 3D models

hello ...
Regarding the P-delta effects, is it true to connect CM of each story in a 3D problem to a leaning column via an axially rigid element in both longitudinal directions to capture the P-delta effects or I need to define such columns for all frames in both directions?
