hello, silvia.can you give me a explaination about that why we get a absolute same displacement records of different node of one story when i do as follow to input the ground motion record
set dispSeries1 "Series -dt $dt -filePath $outFile -factor 1"
set dispSeries2 "Series -dt $dt -filePath $outFile -factor 1.5"
pattern MultipleSupport 2 {
groundMotion 1 Plain -disp $dispSeries1
groundMotion 2 Plain -disp $dispSeries2
#the 7th storey(25,26,27,28 are the 7th storey node)
imposedMotion 28 1 1
imposedMotion 27 1 1
imposedMotion 26 1 1
imposedMotion 25 1 1
#the 6the storey (21 22 23 24 )
imposedMotion 24 1 2
imposedMotion 23 1 2
imposedMotion 22 1 2
imposedMotion 21 1 2
and when i adjust the factor of node 21,22,23,25,26,27with zero, the result level displacement of that node are zero too.
HELP!

Can you please tell me if the version 2 is the best version to use? the archived version says "Beta" when I open it.
I appreciate your help dz@gobav.com http://gobav.com/ for reply notification, or is it automatic?
Thank You
