hysteretic material parameter

Hi;
could you please tell me about hysteretic material parameter? i would like to write this material for vertical link in eccentrically braced frame . i have shear force-deformation and moment-rotation relationships but i don't know about $pinchX $pinchY $damage1 $damage2 <$beta> .
