Problem about DisplayModel
Dear silvia,
When I use the DisplayModel2D.tcl to display my model, the model are displayed indeed, but they disappear after the running finishes. So how can I save the display into avi format or else I can do?
Thank you for your reply!

But the recorder window is running so fast, how can I print the images in each analysis step?

Re: Problem about DisplayModel
In the earlier versions of OpenSees there was an option to save the image into a file, but for some reason this option is removed form newer versions. So there is no way of doing what I suggested earlier.
However, you can find a software (online) that will record what is going on on the terminal. This looks like the only option at the moment.

Re: Problem about DisplayModel
I never had to do it so I can not recommend a specific software. You can google it.
Display command is not documented well. The only place you can find some description of the command is here:
