How to capture the softing part of force-displacement curve

Post by xwjshs »

Hi everybody

i want to capture the softing part of force-disp. curve. using load command and displacementcontrol can't get the softing part. than imposing the disp. with sp command and there are some warnings as following:
" warning plainhandle::handle() - non-homogeneos constraints for node $nodenum homo assumed"

why?

if you give me a example i will be very happy.
looking forwarding to your replying.

thank u.

Here is the example:

Use these files:Ex3.Canti2D.build.InelasticFiberSection.tcl and Ex3.Canti2D.analyze.Static.Push.tcl and you will get what you need.
