Hello

The building that I have to model was tested till a moment when it was stopped because of the imminent collapse of the structure. About the same moment of the earthquake my model in OpenSees fails as well(i run the whole earthquake on it).Is the result of the program that fails like that correct (displacements, frequency of the structure etc)?

Thank you very much for the answer!

It depends on your model. If your model is good and your analysis objects are defined well, then you may get good results. Compare the analytical with the experimental results and you will now if your analytical model works well.
