Node Recorder

Could someone please tell me why when I type the following line:


recorder Node -file node.out -dof 1 2 3 4 5 6 disp

OpenSees yells at me about the "disp". It says it's expecting an integer there. Then when I type something other than disp, it tells me to enter one of the following (disp, vel, etc.). So it tells me it wants disp, then it tells me it's expecting an integer. Anyone have any idea why this might be? thanks a lot.

Maybe you should try to enter "disp" instead of disp. I had the same problem and that was the solution.

i have just placed a new executable on the website .. version 1.5.3 .. it does not appear
to have the problem you describe .. maybe you could test it, if problem persists .. could
you try and post the script so i can run it and see what's up.
