Hi,
I want to define a zero length element with angle of 39.
Is it correct to define it's vector orientaion like 1 .81 0 -1 .81 0?

Hi,
I always like it when people have to find out the answers for them selves instead of just asking. That is the best way to learn I bet that you are better of with having to "do it yourself" that just getting the answer given to you on a plate.

Just wondering: why do you need a zero lenght element? What kind of model are you building?
