modal responses

Hi,
I have a problem in getting responses of 1st, 2nd and 3rd modes.in the other words I want to get the modal responses. it would be great if some one can help me

you need to use the eigen option in the recorders, ask for all the nodes you want in the dof you want, for each eigenvalue.

Dear Silvia,
thanks for your reply, I know you're busy with the workshop...I didnt get what you mean..I'm workinh on MPA and I need modal(1st, 2nd and 3rd mode)responses in order to combine them and get the final results such as story shear,overturnig moments,drifts...how can I get these parameters in the first 3 modes?
and also,how can I get the mode shapes?

look at the node recorder in the manual, it gives you the option for the eigen modes.
