problem about reliability and eleResponse

i am meeting problems when building a suspension bridge model:
After the analysis,i want to get the force results of the truss elements,so i use the "eleResponse" command,but i found the "eleResponse" command is not available in the old version such as opensees 1.7.4,or 2.0.0,i don't want to use the recorder command,because i need the force results during the analysis for the next step computation.so i wonder is there another command like as the "eleResponse" command in the opensees 1.7.4.maybe you will say why i don't chose the version 2.2.0 or 2.1.0,so it's the problem,i need the reliability analysis,but i found i can't run the reliability analysis in the version 2.2.0 or 2.1.0 ,on the contrary the old version 1.7.4,or 2.0.0 can run the reliability analysis,i don't know why. i am a new learner,
