beam with hinges

Hi everyone...
I have a question about the beamWith Hinges element..I am modeliing a cantilever column with lumped plasticity..My question is that,in cantilever column plastic hinge length formed at only one end..so what should I put for plastic hinge at the other end of element..Can I simply use length of plastic hinge at J node as zero.or there is any other option..im confiused in that part..plz somebody help me

I would define the hinge at the other end (node J) to be the same as the hinge at the node I, no matter there is no nonlinear action at the node J.

nodes have no length! rephrase the question.

In cantilever, is the Lpj=0 in command element beamWithHinges? thank
