Need for help

Post by timosidis »

Dear users,

my name is Timosidis Dimitris and I am a Phd student in Department of Civil Engineering, Democritus University of Thrace, Greece. I am a new user of OpenSees and I am trying to analyze a 3D model of a beam-column joint, but I have some problems. I would like to ask some questions about. I don't know how exactly this message board works. Would anybody be able to help me? Do I have to write to someone personally?

Warm regards.
Timosidis Dimitris

I can't say I have done much with 3D analysis in OpenSees, but what sort of problem are you having? If I can help I will be happy to do it.

you can post the question here.
however, there hasn't been much work done in beam-column modelling other than what Laura Lowes has done.
