a question about model a section
Hello and thanks for your excelent work
At this moment I'm working on my thesis and I really want to know if there is any way to make a composite section with buildingtcl.
I have to model a RC T section, but with a variable material core. I mean, at the section boundary, I need a more confined concrete than in the center.
Any answer will be ok.

A problem when using BuildingTcl 1.9
Dear Dr.Silvia
I'm a user of BuildingTcl 1.9.
I found some problem when I was trying to configure the elevation of the
building model. In the elevation view, when ever I clicked on the beams, an error message named "application error" poped up, reading:
--------------------------------------------
Error: can't read "NoDefinedGravityDistributedLoad...
---------------------------------------------
If I click the "Details>>" botton on the error message, it reads:
---------------------------------------------------------
can't read "NoDefinedGravityDistributedLoad": no such variable
can't read "NoDefinedGravityDistributedLoad": no such variable
while executing
"set switch $NoDefinedGravityDistributedLoad"
("eval" body line 1)
invoked from within
"eval "set switch \$NoDefinedGravity$thisGravityLoadType""
(procedure "DrawInputModelElevation" line 579)
invoked from within
"DrawInputModelElevation"
(procedure "AddInputElement" line 39)
invoked from within
"AddInputElement "Column Story 1 ColumnLine 1""
(command bound to event)
-----------------------------------------------------
I watched the demo but the same error occurred even I followed your way of modeling. Can you tell me what the problem is? Thank you for your great contribution and thank you in advance for your solution of the problem !
