a simple Question about tags

i have a simple question !

is there relationship between tag lenght and time of calculation (procces time)

for examlpe , using 6digit tags consume more time (for run) , rather than 2digit tags or not ?

no .. the components are stored using the STL map .. the key used is the tag .. access to any component of a map should be O(log n), n being the number of components being stored
