question about semi-rigid connection in steel frames

Hi,

I'm a new user of Opensee. I have to model semi-rigid connection in steel frames, I have no idea how to start with opensee....
I need some help to start.
is there ready script or sth like that...?

look at the examples manual for examples on building models. a simple 2d frame can also be found here:

to model semi-rigid end connections you are going to have add add an additional node for each element end you want the semi-rigid connection for. then use the equalDOF command to set the translational dof of the 2 nodes to be the same, for the rotational dof you have to add a ZeroLength element. For that element you provide a material that details the moment-rotation characteristics you want for your connection.
