Bond_SP01 material can be used in 3D model?

Post by wangweiyi »

I am modeling the behavior of a RC column in bidirectional load cycle test then I build 3D model for it.

I used fiber section and Aggregate shear deformation. The analytical results is OK.
But I want my model to be more precise so I add Bond_SP01 material to model slip deformation then the result become unbelievable.

Is Bond_SP01 material viable in 3D model?

Thanks!

it should. the problem might be due to an error discovered in the material.

you might want to look at this discussion:

i have just recently been made aware of this error and the revised code will be in the next release (which will be out any day now assuming i am not hit with any more code changes from developers!)[/url]
