shear-wall
Dear silvia,
there is a fundamental question that is discussed repeatedly among the researchers. would you please help us?
is it possible to model shear-wall buildings in opensees?
if so, which element should be used?
i hope various aspects of shear-wall modeling be discussed in near workshop.
thank you in advance.

not sure if it will be discussed at this workshop, likely at next year's Modeling workshop.
right now the only way to model shear walls is with beam-column elements. no flexure-shear interaction.
