Expanding/modifying code with Objective-C

Hi Frank... I'm thinking to learn Objective-C in order to exploit all features available in both OpenSees and Mac OS X, and then adapt them to a large research at Universidad del Norte... My question is if I can employ Objective-C to expand/modify pieces of code in OpenSees... I've read that mixing C++ and Objective-C is actually possible, but I would like to know your opinion about it. I'm supposing you have some experience using Objective-C.

Anyway... any comment will be greatly appreciated!

sorry but i have no experience with objective-c .. awhile back i looked into yjr possibility of using objective-c++ for something i had to do, but never got around to it.
