Adoptive Push over analysis

Post by mehdi12345 »

Hi Dr Silvia
I tried to perform an adoptive push over analysis
I used a recorder as this:
recorder Node -time -file OUT/eigen.txt -node 114 214 314 -dof 1 "eigen 1"
,this nodes are my center nodes that can predict overall eigen shape,
but even by buckling of my braces eigen values did not change
and when I added an " eigen 1 " command in program to be run in each step, in the secoend step I encounter to a failiure and convergence error. ( I already have a convegence script that works very well but do nothing in this problem ).`

can you do a simple pushover first? does it have convergence problems?

Also, just for fun, it's called Adaptive pushover...
I have never done an adaptive pushover, so i hope someone on this forum can help you.

Thanx Dr Silvia
I have no problem with simple push over analysis.
Problem occures when i want to determine eigen values for each step in ADAPTIVE pushover analysis
