Hi,
Can any body tall me how to download source code via CVS. I am using DOS cell in windows xp and followed the procedure mentioned in the following link

opensees.berkeley.edu/OpenSees/developer/cvs.php

I have installed tortoise CVS.

When I tried to connect the server it gave the following error:

"connect to opensees.berkeley.edu:2401 failed: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established cnnection failed because connested host has failed to respond."

Please help

I use WinCVS so I don't know how similar it is to tortoise CVS. Initially, I got a similar problem with the connection failure. I realized that I skipped the colon in front of pserver in the CVSROOT. Once I fixed it, OpenSees is checked out fine. So make sure you are not leaving out or misspelling anything.
