Example file by two element options, Results are the same!

I ran the example file:
Ex2b.Canti2D.InelasticSection.EQ.tcl
for the two element options:
1. nonlinearBeamColumn (Force-based Element), and
2. dispBeamColumn (Displacement-based Element)
The script file for the two options are exactly the same, except for the element defenition: nonlinearBeamColumn OR dispBeamColumn.

The results are exactly the same!
Should it be this way?! or
it seems that sth is going wrong.
I'll appreciate your help.
