Dear all, I have a little problem when I try to model this distributed load.
I know that a vertical distributed load "w" on a beam which length is "L" can be modelled with the eleLoad command or with its equivalent (2 vertical loads wL/2 and 2 bending moments wL^2/12 on the end nodes).
What I have is a vertical distributed load on an oblique beam, so I can't use the eleLoad command as it uses local coordinates and I don't know how to use the equivalent loads and moments in this case. Is the "L" in this case the beam's length or is it the projection of the beam?
Hope someone can help. Thank you all!

what does it that is break the vector down into local coordinates mean?
