help me to build a T section,please

Post by ocean2000 »

the RC "T" section used as a column section and i define fiber section as:
#unit N mm
uniaxialMaterial Concrete01 1 -45 -0.004 34.4 -0.01
uniaxialMaterial Concrete01 2 -34.4 -0.002 0 -0.0033
uniaxialMaterial Steel01 3 686 201000 0.01

section Fiber 3 {
# y1 z1 y2 z2 y3 z3 y4 z4
patch quad 1 10 4 40 -160 40 160 160 160 160 -160
patch quad 1 4 10 -260 -60 -260 60 40 60 40 -60
patch quad 2 12 2 160 -200 160 200 200 200 200 -200
patch quad 2 2 2 40 -200 40 -160 160 -160 160 -200
patch quad 2 2 2 40 160 40 200 160 200 160 160
patch quad 2 5 2 0 -200 0 -60 40 -60 40 -200
patch quad 2 5 2 0 60 0 200 40 200 40 60
patch quad 2 2 10 -300 -100 -300 -60 0 -60 0 -100
patch quad 2 2 10 -300 60 -300 100 0 100 0 60
patch quad 2 2 2 -300 -60 -300 60 -260 60 -260 -60
layer straight 3 4 113 160 -160 160 160
layer straight 3 4 113 40 -160 40 160
layer straight 3 2 113 -260 -60 -260 60
}

when analyze static,the Gravity analysis failed,but the pushover was success. then the pushover curve have some wrong,i can't upload the picture to describe it. and the rect section is good without wrong.so i think the problem is how to build the fiber section of "T" correctly.
please give me some suggestion about the "T"section.thanks
