Steel02 with degradation?

Post by bkosbab »

I'm looking for a material that behaves like Steel02, but with strength degradation. I've looked at the hysteretic and pinching4 materials, but the unloading behavior isn't appropriate. The ReinforcingSteel material with the optional -CMFatigue parameters is probably closest, but if I understand correctly, the degradation is a function of the number of loading cycles. Is there any material like Steel02 that I can add degradation to the backbone curve? Thanks so much

nope, you can try to combine steel02 and hysteretic material.
