VariableTransient number of iterations

Post by bkosbab »

Quick question:

Is the $Jd specified in VariableTransient analysis a maximum number of iterations at each time step, or a specified number?

Thanks

it's the number of iterations you would like to occur .. if more iteartaions than that occur then the timeStep is shortened for the next time step, if fewer than that occur the timeStep is lengthened.

Thank you; that makes a lot of sense.
