Output Specification [New User of OpenSees]

Post by Feynman »

Hello,

I am a new user. I am starting by running the examples 3.1, 3.2 from the OpenSees Website. The output files are wordpad files. How can I set it so that I can open these in Excel for easy plotting?

Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered.

the output files are polain text files .. they are not wordpad .. you have associated files with .out to be opened by wordpad on your machine .. just import the file into excel.
