Consistent units issue

I am using confined concrete 01 model( values to be entered in Mpa,mm) in my opensees model to account for the steel confinement.The shear limit curve units are in psi, kips/ inch and inch. Do i have to define the shear limit with these units or can i use units which are consistent with confined concrete model?. Is it mandatory that the shear limit curve parameters be entered in the mentioned units(psi, inch, kips/inch?. I would appreciate a help on this.

You have to ensure the units are consistent with your input. OpenSees does not convert units.
