Good afternoon to all OpenSees Community.

I have a question related with stress-strain recorders when using Shell elements and PlateFiber Section. I have questions using these commands:

1. recorder Element -file file_name -time -ele elem_number material gauss_point fiber layer stress
2. recorder Element -file file_name -time -ele elem_number material gauss_point fiber layer strains

Using the first command I can get stresses S11,S22,S12,S23,S31 in each gauss point for each 5 layers. With the second one I can obtain Epsilon11, Epsilon22, Epsilon12, Epsilon23, Epsilon31 also for each gauss point in each layer. When using layered sections we asume Plane Stress in each layer and the recording of S33 will be zero but the value of Epsilon33 is not zero. Is there any reason why the value of Epsilon33 is not recorded? And is there some way to obtain this value?
