OpenSees Support Group

Hello Everyone,

This is Pavan Chigullapally, Ph.D. student, and Max Stephens, Lecturer from the University of Auckland. We have started an OpenSees Support Group and would like to invite OpenSees/OpenSeesPy users to join our bi-weekly meetings. The aim of the support group is to form a close-knit group of researchers using OpenSees/OpenSeesPy, to demonstrate research performed using OpenSees/OpenSeesPy, and to discuss individual projects.

The meetings are held via Zoom and are open to everyone, even to beginners. The next meeting is on 9 October 2020 (Friday) at 11 am (NZ Standard Time). If you would like to join our regular bi-weekly meetings and receive information about them please send an email to pchi893@aucklanduni.ac.nz.

The structure of these meetings will be:

1) Presentation ~ 20mins
2) Technical learnings, challenges faced and how you overcame them, suggestions for others, etc. ~ 20mins
3) Open discussion related to issues faced by OpenSees users in their own projects with all the other users present during the session. ~ 20mins
