Shell Elasto-Plastic Analysis

I am modeling a squared steel plate supported in its four corners with an incremental constant load applied in its center in a perpendicular direction. I have tested several shell elements and the material is J2Plasticity with a PlateFiber Section. It works fine for the elastic range using a Linear algorithm but I have convergence problems for the plastic range when using a Newton algorithm. Any suggestions?

You can try other nonlinear solvers using if statements
