Moment release modelling

Hi all,
How does one model moment release for truss members in OpenSees?

There is a truss element that you can directly use.

the truss members intercept frame members, I tried using equalDOF but still modal analysis gives me wrong numbers

You should not use equaldof for the rotations to introduce moment releases.
