Hi all,
I would like to do some bi-directional pushover analyses using displacement control, say, applying prescribed displacements to separate dofs at a node. However, using the Displacement Control integrator, displacements can be applied at only one dof at a node. I am wondering if it is possible to do the stated bi-directional pushover analyses at all?
Thanks,
Yang

Re: bi-directional push-over using displacement control?
Hi everyone:
I am facing a similar question now: i want to simulate a crucifix beam column joint which reverse loads applied at both beam ends. How can I control the displacement at both beam ends at the same time?
Thanks.

Different degrees of freedom can be handled using the sp command:
