FORCE VS DISP LOAD

DEAR ALL,
As i do pushover analysis of a single story one bay RC frame, if for the lateral load i apply a force of 10N the pushover for the frame is different as compared to a 1 mm reference displacement applied at the same node using sp command...also both the analysis are displacement controlled to a max of 500mm displacement value.....Please help me understand the difference

its a different type of analysis .. to compare you want to use displacement control, add a unit ref load to the frame and then check the load factor (the time in the domain) to impose the displacement .. the time should be 10 and rotations for this result will be as the original, rotations for imposed displacements will probably not be the same (which is why the difference)
