Moment Rotation

Post by ebaf65 »

Hi,

I want to record end rotation of a RC column. I have used a zero length section element at the base of the column.

I know that we can record Moment-Curvature directly, but I don't know how to record moment-rotation directly.

Can any one help me to sort this problem out?

Many thanks.

multiply the curvature by the predefined plastic hinge length Lp (usually Lp can be calculated by an empirical equation, search for example Priestly plastic hinge length in google)
