PDelta Geotransf

Post by schoolstru »

dear all
would you please tell me that is it possible that we use
geomTransf PDelta %d
in the column with zerolenght element in the column?
i mean that i have a column element that has concentrated plastic hinge at the both ends and this columns has also elasticBeamColumn
i have a model as i said first time the geomTransf commands was linear for both columns and beam and my model worked, but the second time i changed geomTransf commands from linear to PDelta, but this time the eigen analysis did not work for my model,
please answer me if you could
many thanks

no reason it should not work assuming you have it correct.
