damage2p material

Post by descolano »

Hi!
is there any date for the release of the damage 2p material. I need to model a coupling beam and this material seems very useful for this purpose.

If I was you I wouldn't wait on this material to be added to be honest, unless you have been told by someone that it is being added. Otherwise, you could code it and add it yourself!

Is there any chance that the code for Damage2p will be available in Opensees.

The user documentation describes the Damage2p material
http://opensees.berkeley.edu/wiki/index.php/Damage2p
however it is not mentioned that the command is actually not available in Opensees.
