Hi there,
In two dimensional analysis (say X Y), If I model a rotational spring as zerolength element, what is the direction argument for the rotation about Z ? Is it 6 or 3 ??
If the answer is 6 then why the degree of freedom 3 given to the rotation about Z in other commands, for example to model a moment as load, we give number 3 in load command as rotational degree of freedom. It is little bit confusing...

it is 6 and a quirk of that element.
