OpenSees on HPC

Post by naserhassania »

I am trying to start my work on OpenSees on a high performance Computer (HPC) at the computer lab, as I need to reduce the time it takes for the analysis.
The HPC operates on Linux. Not sure which version of Opensees I can download on this system and what modifications I have to do to be able to run the system efficiently. I am doing IDA and automating the process using mat lab, where mat lab sets up all the analysis parameters and calls on Opensees to do the analysis.
Can this same process be used on the HPC or I have to modify it and how can this be done efficiently? Are the codes for Opensees different or I just use the same regular scripts that I use on the regular analysis.
Thanks for any advice or help with this
Regards
Naser
