how to change properties of a link

Post by radmard »

Hi,
How can I change the stiffness and damping of a 2node link element during analysis and repeat the analysis? because I can not overwrite the material.

Thank you.

do you want to start over from scratch or from the state at the end of the last analysis?

Hello, Frank:

I have similar question here. If I want to change the material property of steel02 (steel01, elastic material) at the end of one analysis (let's say Analysis 1), and then continue to do another analysis ( let's say Analysis 2) based on the state at the end of the Analysis 1, would you please tell me if there is anyway to do that?
Thank you for your help.
