Adding sensitivity to a material

Post by ziggorat »

Hi, I am doing an optimization analysis on a timber building with using "SAWS" material in the connectors. Since this material does not have sensitivity code developed, I wanna add it to material's cpp file, is any one has any sort of manual or data on how to that?

Vahid,

I haven't checked this message board in a while. Please come see me to discuss if you and Andre haven't already figured it out.

I am also working on this issue. I have read thesis of Gu quan, but am not sure if my understanding is correct. I found from Concrete01 that we only need to define stresssensitivity and slopesensitivity for a given strain. Is that right? I hope there are some documentations about it!
Thanks!

that will be a very good idea... because when you add sensitivity to the material the students will like it more
