svn Download problem ?

Same problem here, last month the server worked fine, but now I get (on Linux):

svn: E000110: Unable to connect to a repository at URL 'svn://opensees.berkeley.edu/usr/local/svn/OpenSees/trunk'
svn: E000110: Can't connect to host 'opensees.berkeley.edu': Connection timed out

Check with your system administrator. This issue is related with permissions and not with internet connetion

i know about it .. we moved the peer server to one in the clouds managed by others .. a few things are still broken, including svn

svn co svn://peera.berkeley.edu/usr/local/svn/OpenSees/trunk OpenSees

The new repository (svn://peera.berkeley.edu/usr/local/svn/OpenSees/) requires username and password authentication. Any recommendation?

But the following message displayed as follows:
Error Unable to connect to a repository at URL
Error 'svn://opensees.berkeley.edu/usr/local/svn/OpenSees/trunk/DEVELOPER'
Error Can't connect to host 'opensees.berkeley.edu': A connection attempt failed
Error because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time,
Error or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

Try to connect to svn://peera.berkeley.edu/usr/local/svn/OpenSees/. It should work fine.

change to peera.berkeley.edu .. we are not being allowed to use in our newly managed server .. we are moving to github
