Hi
I am modeling a 3D RC structure with nonlinearBeamColumn element for beams and columns and ShellMITC4 element for slabs. When use distributed mass (using $rho- mass density of the material in ElasticMembranePlateSection) I get convergence error in dynamic analysis but when I put $rho (mass density of the material in ElasticMembranePlateSection) equal to zero and define lumped mass in nodes analysis continues without error!!!
Does any one have any idea what is wrong with the model?

I was using version 2.4.3 (rev 5642). After your reply, I download last version available on the web site [2.4.6 (rev 6062)], running my script again result in no error massage.
I think it was a problem in the old version which has been solved in the newest ones.
